Thoughts: A Lot of Stuff

Lets just get started on a lot of things that came out in the last few months that I like to give my two cents on.

1. Gotham TV Series: When I first heard that this was coming out, I was excited, the cast was solid and it would be a nice idea to see how Gotham came to be the city that needed someone like Batman, however.....the only good thing I can really say is that the actors are great, the rest of the show is sadly underwhelming, where it tries its best to give us some classic Batman villains without really giving them to us, keeping Bruce Wayne in the show when really I was just hoping he and Alfred would only be around for the first episode or two, same thing with Penguin, seriously this show is trying its best to be a Batman show without Batman, and for some reason WB and DC wont use Batman or Superman in live action television, I don't know why because if say CW were to announce a Batman TV series set in the same universe as their Flash and Arrow TV shows, after seeing how good CW is doing with those shows, I think a show based on Batman's early years would be amazing and we can have a Justice League for the small screen as well as the big screen, but no, instead we have Fox trying its best to make Batman with only the bones and without the meat.

2. The Flash TV Series: Holy shit do I love this show, and so does my mother, yeah, I sat down with my mom and shown her a few episodes of the Flash and she likes it, Grant Gustin in my opinion is the live action Barry Allen, and whoever the get for the DC Cinematic Universe has a hell of a performance to compete with if he wants to compete, I love that the show is bringing in the Flash's rouges like Captain Cold, Reverse Flash, Captain Boomerang, we're getting Gorilla Grodd, and the Trickster who's gonna be played by Mark Hamill who will be reprising his role after playing the Trickster in not only Justice League Unlimited, but also in the original live action TV series from the 90's, which also stared the actor who's playing Harrison Wells, and please for those who saw the mid season finale, don't spoil the ending, I myself have seen it, but I don't want to have it spoiled for anyone who hasn't and if you haven't seen any of the CW's Flash, I have to tell you this, go watch it right now!

3. Star Wars: the Force Awakens Trailer: I liked it, it left me wanting to see more, and the light saber in the trailer looked great, I know some people are bitching because there was a black Storm Trooper, and I respond to them with this: Shut up, first off, I'm pretty sure that in the new expanded universe, they're gonna explain that the empire needed more troops that the cloning facilities could produce so the empire had to recruit, and also, and this is the funny part, Luke Skywalker and Han Solo both wore Strom Trooper uniforms in a New Hope, it's not like only the clones can wear that armor.

4. Toho is Making New Godzilla movies: YES, ALL OF MY YES! Now, I can see Toho doing this for multiple reasons, the new Toho movie is coming out in 2016, while the sequel to Legendary's Godzilla movie is coming out in 2018, I think Toho is just trying to strike the iron while it's hot, while Legendary's Godzilla didn't make as much money over all compared to other summer blockbusters this year, it's still the highest grossing Godzilla movie of all time and it kept Godzilla relevant, and I'm sure the Toho movie is just a way on keeping Godzilla relevant, and while I cant see a major theatrical release in the US, I can see a limited release much like Dragonball Z Battle of Gods, and besides the Godzilla fans who would go see it, people who liked the Legendary movie and people who are just curious would see it as well and probably make a significant profit, so here's hoping for a new wave of Godzillamania like the one from the 60's and 70's

5. Inside Out Trailer: I liked it, and I feel that Pixar is gonna hit home again after those two Planes movies, plus, Lewis Black is gonna be in it, so I'm gonna see it when it comes out.

6. Constantine TV series: I like it, the actor playing John Constantine, to me he is the character, and I honestly would like to see him play the Doctor after Peter Capaldi retires from the role, but on with the show itself, I really enjoy it, and if it wasn't gonna get cancelled after its thirteenth episode we could of gotten the Specter, and I even heard rumors that Etrigan was supposed to appear in the show, but alas, the show's getting cancelled
