The story: In the not to distant future, aliens created a device called the fusion ark, it merged the multiverse into one, sending the new universe into chaos, earth especially, taking advantage of the mayhem, the aliens laid siege on earth, wiping out most of the heroes, now this unlikely team must work together and take the earth back.

The Leader: Stacker Pentacost (Pacific Rim)- Last memory he had was that he died in an explosion, but now he lives and must prepare this team to cancel this new apocalypse.

The Mascot: Godzilla- His home was threatened by these pests, if he must team up with the humans, so be it, for now at least.

The Badass: The Hulk- Dr. Bruce Banner tried to find his lover, Betty Ross, only to see her killed in an attack on Boston, this sent Bruce into a mad rage, leaving any last bit of Banner gone, and now only the Hulk exists.

The Tactician: David Xanatos(Gargoyles)- He sent his wife and son away to hiding when Stacker contacted him, adding tech from the late Tony Stark and Lex Luthor to his Steel Clan robots, he leads assaults on alien prison camps in hopes to find anyone else who can help in this war.

Resident Dumbass: Beastboy- The Titans have fallen, along with the Doom Patrol, young Garfield may not have any skill when it comes to smarts but with his drive to avenge his friends and family, he sets out to do what he can to stop the aliens once and for all.

The Vehicle Specialist: Kevin Levin(Ben 10)- With the Plumbers all but wiped out and his girlfriend Gwen taken by the aliens, Kevin sought out Stacker and his team after hearing whispers of a resistance against the aliens, with his knowledge of alien tech and his mechanic skills, he proven himself to be a valuable member to the team.

The Explosives Expert: Wheeljack(Transformers Prime)- Part of a team of Autobots sent to earth to aide their human allies, he's the lone survivor of an ambush, he sets to save the human companions the Autobots made during the last days of the Autobot/Decapticon war from being experimented on in the main alien fortress in the ruins of Geneva.

The Tech Specialist: Oracle(Batman)- One of the two lone survivors of the Bat Family, Barbra uses her skills to decrypt alien communications and hack into computer systems.

The Weapons Expert: Samus Aran(Metroid)- Originally contacted by the aliens to hunt down any resistance fighters, when she saw the devastation on earth, she was reminded too much of what happened during her childhood, and turned on her employers.

The Melee Specialist: Thor Odinson- With most of his allies on Midgard dead, Thor vowed to vanquish as many of these aliens till his last breath.

The Medic: Medic(TF2)- The rest of the Mann mercenaries were killed after the first attack, and his friend the Heavy died, saving him, the Medic offered to do as much as he could to help the team

The Marksman: Scarlett(GI Joe)- With the rest of the Joe team either dead or captured, Scarlett allies herself with this new team to rescue her fellow Joes, especially her fiancé Snake Eyes

The Stealth Expert: Cassandra Cane(Batman)- The only other surviving member of the Bat Family, Cassandra gave up her oath to never kill again, wanting to do whatever it takes to avenge Bruce and Tim.

The Scout: Wasp(Avengers: EMH)- With her team all dead, Janette wants to do all she can to make sure that the other versions of Hulk and Thor can survive and help humanity drive the invaders out.

The First Blood: Captain Planet- The Planeteers were all killed, Gia had to give her life force to bring Planet into being, being a big part in the first battle between the resistance and the aliens, Captain Planet sensed the planet was dying, knowing that even if they won and the aliens retreated earth would still die, Planet flew deep into the middle of the alien's fleet and blew himself up, giving his life force and power to the planet, ensuring it would never die out, his final words being  to his allies, "The power is yours"
